May is National Meditation Month and on Thursday May 27th I'm offering a workshop on Breath as the key to meditation and the Mind Body connection. The workshop will be from 7pm to 9pm. Seating is limited. Suitable for beginners.

The workshop location is in South Pasadena and you'll receive the address with your confirmation email. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring a meditation cushion if you have one.

Here is a sample of the techniques you'll experience
Breath deeply and silently in through your nostrils filling from the abdomen up to the top of the chest. Feel yourself expand. Pause with the breath held for a few heartbeats. Relax the abdomen. Then SLOWLY exhale allowing all the air to leave your lungs. When you feel all the air is out, repeat the process. Do this 4 to 6 times.

My clinical experience shows that this simple breath exercise will immediately move you into a more relaxed and alert state.
